With the new Clean Air Emission Regulation, the new Clean Air Outboard motors also come with forward gear shift, with the mounting brackets attched under the Steering Bracket. This reduces the amount of room avalable for the Spin Clamps. therefore, Midcoast Marine has designed a 2 Finger Version, which can be tightened into the Horizontal Position, eliminating the lack of space issue when using the 4 finger Spin Clamps

The MCM CNC machined Motor Flushing Attachment was designed primarily for Outboard Motors with Propeller Guards fitted. Designed for the 25/30hp Tohatsu to Screw into the side Flushing Port, provides excellent Flushing of the Motor and adds safety whereby attempting to fit flush muffs around a Propeller is dangerous.
The MCM CNC Flushing Attachment also works as a high pressure Nozzle for cleaning. The O’Ring is a standard 12mm hose fitting O’Ring. The attachment is knurled for easy grip when fitting and removing.

Manual handling and OH&S are a major priority with any manual lifting process. The Introduction of the Clean Air Outboard Motor Legislation, the Outboard Motor weight has increased from 58kgs to 79kgs. To assist with the safe manual handling/lifting/carrying of these Motors Peter Hallett has designed the MCM Alloy Outboard Motor Lifting Handles. These Handles simply screw onto each end of the Tilt Tube, two people can very safety lift and carry the Outboard Motor, maintaining a low center of gravity to minimize the risk if injury.

The MCM Throttle Return Spring was designed by Peter Hallett to return the throttle back to idle in the event that the driver lost control of the Motor and fell out of the Boat. The Throttle Return Spring is an essential safety feature in minimizing the risk of injury.
The MCM Mobile Alloy Flushing Tank is perfect for running your Motors pre and post operation, providing maximum protecting to your Waterpump, and the MCM Flushing tank has a drain tap for safe and easy emptying of the tank.
