Engine Component Design
Peter Hallett, through his extensive surf rescue and Thundercat racing experience has designed and manufactured a range of strengthening components to allow motors used in environments to withstand the harshest conditions and treatment.
In particular, Surf Life Saving Australia has endorsed Midcoast Marine Inflatables P/L as an approved manufacturer. All components designed by Peter Hallett have been inspected and tested by the various motor manufacturers and also by Surf Life Saving Australia before being endorsed for use.

Welding Services
Midcoast Marine have the latest Kempii Pulse mig and tig welding machines available on the market today. This allows welding of alloy’s and stainless steel with excellent results.
Often, if part is on backorder and its urgent, we can weld and repair the damaged part and strengthen it as well, to get you going again.

Trailer Repairs & Manufacturing
At Midcoast Marine Inflatables we believe your inflatable is valuable and therefore it requires a properly designed trailer, we design and manufacture trailers for Thundercats, surf rescue and recreational Inflatables. The surf rescue trailers come in hot dip galvanized and there alloy are also tubular beach going versions.
The road trailer can also be used on the sand and there is a “double decker” option available as well.

Repairs
We carry out all trailer repairs from component replacing to strengthening, bearings and trailer light servicing. LED light replacement wiring ETC.

Lathe and Milling Machine
Midcoast Marine also have capabiltity light machining facility. There are many small repairs which require the convenience of a lathe or milling machine, and we have this service available in our workshop.
